On Friday 2nd of October 2009 the Bakehouse had a Cup Cake give away in support of the Parramatta Eels playing in the final of the NRL series of 2009 on Sunday the 4th of October 2009. The Bakehouse thank all patrons for their donation on the day which has been given to the McGrath Foundation, the Bakehouse matched dollar for dollar on all donations received.

Australia's largest tenpin bowling centre is coming soon to the Bakehouse Quarter. The "new wave" bowling facility will feature the latest in bowling equipment technology with automated bumper bowling on all 38 lanes, aswell as full 'glow-in-the-dark' properties, LCD computer scoring, a huge kiddies game area, function rooms and billiard tables. The facility will also include a private corporate area of 12 lanes and the new Sliders Bowling bar and grill concept.
